No matter what the weather is dishing up, you can get a taste of Summer fun at the Traverse City Civic Center this weekend. Take your little princess to a Big tea party in Petoskey on Saturday. There’s a couple new shows in town in Traverse City , and beer lovers can come out and support a new season of local roller derby!

Some Things You Need to Know Before the World Ends
(A Final Evening with the Illuminati)

Old Town Playhouse Studio Theatre — Apr 10-25th
In this irreverent, highly theatrical, hilarious send-up of organized religion, a loony preacher has visions of playing basketball against the Devil and conducting job interviews with sainthood applicants. Throughout, there is the unseen but undeniable presence of “The Illuminati,” a mysterious but all-powerful force, which guides the destiny of what’s left of the world. Performances are every Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun, with Sun shows at 3:00 pm and all others at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased by phone or at OldTownPlayhouse.com.
