My daughter Ella loves to feed our dog Mitch. Yes it is her job to fill his bowl with food twice a day, but I'm talking about our food. If there's something on her plate she doesn't want, she sneaks it to Mitch. If she's full an can't eat her peanut butter sandwich- guess who gets the rest? My husband is just as bad….if he has a little yogurt or ice cream left over, Mitch gets to clean the cup or dish. This is why I was not shocked when his last trip to the vet resulted in a chat about putting Mitch on a "diet".
