Wine on the Water
July 16, 1-7pm, Suttons Bay Marina Park

Charlevoix Venetian Festival
July 16-23
What began 86 years ago as a simple candle-lit boat parade has grown into a week of color and pageantry that highlights the summer season and attracts tens of thousands of visitors. A week full of great musical performances, plus sailing, golf, croquet, tennis and more, capping off with the parade and fireworks on Saturday the 23rd. Beauty and the Beast at the Old Town Playhouse
July 15 &16
The Playhouse Young Company presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr., by Linda Woolverton with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. This classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. Tickets at oldtownplayhouse.com
 
Stone Circle Gatherings
Saturdays through Labor Day Weekend, 9pm
Poetry, storytelling and music are featured at this unique outdoor amphitheater, with host, Poet bard Terry Wooten. Sit around the fire under a canopy of stars perched on a boulder, or bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the ever-changing variety of entertainment. Stone Circle is located ten miles north of Elk Rapids off US 31. Turn right on Stone Circle Dr., and follow signs.  $5 donation for adults, $3 for kids 12 and under.
