Downtown Traverse City Art Walk
Friday  Sept. 9th, 5pm
This event showcases art exhibits throughout downtown Traverse City. Come enjoy a self-guided tour with refreshments, food and music offered along the way! Walking maps are available at each participating location and at the downtown Traverse City office. Get more info online at downtowntc.com.
 
Warehouse District Block Party
Saturday, September 10th, 4-10pm
Come out to the Workshop brewery for great music and fun celebrating the rise of one of Traverse City's most fun neighborhoods! Local food and drink, and performances by Turbo Pup and the Accidentals will be a part of the festivities, which are open to all ages.
 
Taste of Benzie
Saturday, Sept. 10th, 11:30-3:30, Mineral Springs Park, Frankfort
Come with an appetite and bring the entire family for this lively and delicious afternoon festival. Many of Benzie County restaurants, cafes and caterers will feature their house specialties for $1 – $3 per sample. Beer and wine tastes will be $2 for a sample and $5 for full pours. NCMC Annual Cookout
Sunday, Sept 11th, noon-3pm
An annual tradition for 19 years, the Cookout brings more than 1,000 visitors to our Petoskey campus for a picnic style lunch, a giant Kidz Zone children’s area and entertainment. Proceeds from this event go to the NCMC Foundation Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $8 per person; kids 5 and under are free! Ticket locations are all North Central campuses. Harvest Stompede on the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail
Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10th and 11th
This annual weekend features a spectacular race through Leelanau’s vineyards followed by a self-guided wine tour along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail!  The Harvest Stompede Wine Tour takes place after the race Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, and 12:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $40 and include a souvenir wine glass and a special wine pour and food pairing at each of 25 participating wineries along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail.
