10 Ways to De-stress!!

One of the things I struggle with is stress. I've mentioned before that I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, but it's really more than that I am a tense person in general. When I get a massage the therapists say the same thing- "wow, you must be really stressed out!"  My answer: "YUP".

It's not like there's always something major going on in my life, although my sister passing away in May was definitely an addition to my usual stress, but for some reason everything seems to just get to me and stress me out.  It could be the house is messy, or our budget is tight this week. Maybe it's worry over Ella at school- why isn't she eating her lunch? Does she have friends?  I am like a ball of stress knots just walking around.

So I've decided to take this next year and really focus on myself. I have a weight loss goal, but more importantly a wellness goal for myself. At the top of the list- de-stress my life. Find the joy in the every day instead of the worry.  That's why I was so jazzed to find this list of 101 ways to de-stress. It was writen by a psychology professor in California for their students and it is fantastic! Check it out.
