From great beers to a scare on stage, there's plenty of fun out there!

The colors are really starting to come out across Northern Michigan….take a drive and check out some of these great events! From Beer tasting, to a fun show on stage, a harvest farmers market, even a night at the Yacht club! There's even a chance for you to pay it forward for fall.

Harbor Springs Brew Fest
Saturday, October 8th, 1-5pm
Come out to the waterfront in Harbor Springs as nearly 30 Michigan breweries feature more than 90 different craft beers and ciders for tasting. There will be live entertainment with the Jelly Roll Blues Band, great food from area restaurants, and more! Admission is $10 at the door with a souvenir glass, and pours are 2$ each.
 
 
Last weekend for Little Shop of Horrors at the Old Town Playhouse
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30
Just three more chances to catch the sci-fi horror rock comedy musical on stage at OTP-the story of a boy, a girl, and a plant with an unquenchable thirst for human blood. Tickets are $28 for adults, $15 for youth under 18. Get more info at www.oldtownplayhouse.com.
 
 
Celebrate the Magic of the "Y"
Friday, October 7th
Guests at the Lange Center will enjoy a night of food and drinks, music and dancing, with live and silent auctions featuring items generously donated from community partners and area merchants. All proceeds will support future YMCA programs. Tickets are available at the Bay Harbor office, or by calling 231-348-8393.
 
 
Autumn at the Arts Center
Friday, October 7th, 10am-1pm
The Crooked Tree Arts Center is celebrating autumn as the Artisans and Farmers market moves back into the Carnegie Building. Vendors will be selling good indoors and out on the Bidwell plaza. Learn more about what's in store for the CTAC's fall and winter season!
 
 
Kampout for KAIR
October 7th and 8th
This is a 24-hour food drive to benefit KAIR of Kalkaska. Stop by Bill Marsh and donate non-perishable food and personal hygiene items Friday and Saturday. To learn more, go to www.kampout.org
