Eat, Drink, and do good this weekend!

There are lots of opportunities to get out there this weekend, while enjoying the last of the fall colors along the way! Start by getting ideas for holiday appetizers at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, then follow with a chance to stock up on Holiday wines while enjoying more great food in Leelanau. There's fun for the 4 legged set in Traverse City, a look at the latest fashions in Petoskey, and the chance to wrap up your weekend with a hearty meal for a good cause at the Hagerty Center.

First Friday for Foodies at the Crooked Tree Arts Center
Friday, November 4th 11am to noon
Learn how to create a delicious and beautiful appetizer platter with a culinary demo put on by the Grain Train's Angela Papi and Mindi Taylor. They will bring recipes to sample and share. This event, which is going on at the same time as the CTAC's weekly artisans and farmers market is free and open to the public.
 
 
Toast the Season on the Leelanau Peninsula
November 4th and 5th
Enjoy local wine and delicious foods along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail from 11-5 on Saturday and Noon to 5 on Sunday. AC PAW Christmas Craft Show
Saturday, November 5th, 10am-4pm, West Bay Beach Resort
Bring your pet for photos with Santa Paws, a pet microchipping and vaccination clinic, plus a craft show featuring more than 2 dozen local artisans. Admission is free. All proceeds will benefit AC PAW's animal rescue efforts.
 
 
44th annual Zonta Club Fashion Show
Saturday, November 5th, Ovation Hall at Odawa Casino, Petoskey
This year's theme is "Celebrate!" This fashion show will highlight the latest fall and winter fashions from more than 30 retailers in the Petoskey-Harbor Springs area, paired with an elegant lunch, silent auction, and gift basket raffle. Michelle Chenard and Elizabeth Stoner will be featured performers at the event. Tickets are $55 each and include an entry into a drawing for a $2000 piece of diamond jewelry donated by Arlington Jewelers! Empty Bowls for Goodwill Fundraiser
