The holiday season kicks off with Santa's arrival and the annual tree-lighting ceremony. Join downtown shops and restaurants for a night full of holiday music and fun activities.
Downtown Petoskey Holiday Open House

Charlevoix Holiday Open House
Saturday, December 3rd, 11 to 5pm
Santa comes to town via fire truck around 11:15am and will visit with kids at Charlevoix Cinema from 11:30 to 1:30. Stay and watch the free movie, "The Secret Life of Pets" with admission just a non-perishable food donation for the Charlevoix Food Pantry. And you can warm up with the 4th annual Hot Cocoa contest from noon to 5pm, where you can vote for your favorite hot chocolate recipe.
Light Up the Night, Bellaire
Saturday, December 3rd, noon to 7pm
Celebrate with a full day of events, including the annual soup cook-off, the parade of lights and the tree lighting, community caroling and a live Nativity, plus the chance for kids to visit with Santa!
Holiday Shop and Sip at the Hagerty Center
Saturday, December 3rd, 3-8pm
Come shop Traverse City's favorite handmade market for the holidays! This event hosts more than 60 different vendors, plus a full bar! Parking and admission is free.
