2 winter festivals, a hot new show, and sips, soups and snowshoes!

This weekend is full of fun events, including the chance to celebrate winter in Mackinaw City or East Jordan. You can enjoy a night at the theatre with a musical at the Old Town Playhouse, hit the Leelenau Peninsula wine trail for delicious fun on Saturday, or take a tasting snowshoe trek on the Old Mission Peninsula on Sunday!
24th Annual Mackinaw City Winterfest
January 19-22nd

36th Annual Sno-Blast in East Jordan

“Company” at the Old Town Playhouse
Through January 28th
The Old Town Playhouse presents the Tony-Award winning Steven Sondheim musical, with showtimes Thursday through Saturday at 7:30, Sunday matinees at 2pm. Tickets are $28 for adults, $15 for youth under 18. More info at oldtownplayhouse.com
Sips and Soups on the Leelanau Peninsula
Saturday, January 21st, 12-5pm
Enjoy a winter tour of Leelanau Peninsula wineries, while sipping savory soups, hearty chilis, and delicious Pinot Noirs, Rieslings, Chardonnays and more. Tickets are $20 and include a souvenir wine glass. In addition, $5 for each ticket sold is being donated to local food banks coordinated by Leelanau Christian Neighbors. More info at lpwines.com
Snowshoe, Wine and Brew on the Old Mission Peninsula
Sundays through March 5th, 10:40am-Noon
Park at Jolly Pumpkin to board the Brew Bus and start your trek. The tour make stops at Brys Vineyard and Winery, Bowers Harbor Winery, and then back to Jolly Pumpkin with lots of tasting along the way! Admission is $20. More info at tcbrewbus.com/events
