Daylight Savings and losses

This Sunday is Daylight Savings time. The time of year when we get excited knowing that Spring is right around the corner. It stays light later in the day, which tends to put everyone in a happier mood.
If you’re a parent you know daylight savings time can also be torture! I think it takes my 5 year old 2-3 days to get adjusted to the new time, which seems so strange because it’s just an hour, right?
It’s not just the kids who can suffer from the time change. Just losing that one hour of sleep can cause some major havoc to our bodies, according to the experts. In fact on top of making you grumpy, it increases your risk for a heart attack, and can lead to an increased risk in lifestyle consequences including car accidents!
So how do we combat the negatives of springing forward? Here are the details of what to expect and some tips to get you through it!
