This weekend kicks off a new show at the Old Town Playhouse. There’s an event for outdoor lovers in Gaylord, and fishy fun for the whole family in Kalkaska. You’ll find special activities for the kids at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, and a sweet way to spend your Sunday in Traverse City!
Spamalot at the Old Town Playhouse
April 28th through May 20th
Lovingly ripped off from the classic comedy film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest. Performances of this comic lunacy are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM. Prices are $28 for adults and $15 for youth under 18. Otsego Home and Outdoor Show
April 28-29th, Otsego Sports Complex, Gaylord
Come stroll through displays featuring hunting, fishing, boating, RV’s, camping, archery, taxidermy and more. There will be food concessions on site, a trout pond for the kids, a family casting contest and more! Hours are 3-7 on Friday, and 9-5 on Saturday. Students grades k-8 are invited to come spend a day experiencing the arts with a pizza lunch. Admission is $25 for members, $30 for non-members. More info at crookedtree.org

Sunday, April 30th, 11:30-2 or 2:30-5, City Opera House, Traverse City
