Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York’s Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape. Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar Jr. will leave you with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”

Art in the Park returns for its 32nd year on Saturday, July 15th from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Artists from all over the United States will descend upon Downtown Petoskey to show off their unique creations. Approximately 130 booths will grace Pennsylvania Park in downtown Petoskey, with items ranging from pottery to jewelry, from paintings to photographs, and much more.

Presented by Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce from 1 – 7 pm
The Leelanau Peninsula Wine on the Water Festival will feature tastes from local Leelanau wineries, a distillery, and a brewery as well as delicious food from local restaurants.
