I don't know about you, but I have been saying little prayers every day that my 6 year old does not catch the flu that's going around. We opted out of the flu shot this year, only because last year we got them and then got sick. So far this year we've been in pretty good health (knock on wood) but I won't lie, I am terrified that the other shoe will drop any minute.
Whenever Ella seems worn down or says she doesn't feel good I go into a full fledged panic! I have been reading social media posts left and right about how terrible this year's flu can be…..in some cases deadly. Schools across the country are closing down as hundreds of students call in. And this isn't just a 24 hour bug….some are saying symptoms last up to 14 days!
