Family Vacation Survival

One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to take more trips with my family. When I was young, my dad worked out of town a lot and we didn’t have a lot of money to go on trips. I don’t feel bad about it, but it sure makes me think about what I want for my daughter Ella. I took her to Disney in May for one day and it was definitely crazy, but what also a lot of fun.
In the summer, it’s so beautiful up north we don’t really think about going anywhere else, but with the kids out of school it really is a great time to do a summer vacation trip. My parents are getting older so we also have tried to include them in our plans when we have them.  Adding additional family members to a summer vacation may be fun, but it can also get a little bit crazy! That’s why I thought I would share a family vacation survival guide I found. It has some great tips on how to get the most out of your family vacation….whether you’re planning one before school starts or you’re already thinking about Spring Break.  You can check it out here.
