From a swim for the kids, to wine art and music, it’s another fun summer weekend!

Summer days are getting shorter and sweeter…it’s time to pack in as much fun as possible! The kids can splash their way into the weekend with a swim in Traverse City Friday night. You can browse through fine art from a female perspective Friday and Saturday in Glen Arbor. For the energetic and athletic crew, there’s a fun event to benefit Mt. Holiday on Saturday…the more laid back of you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon of wine, beer and music on the water in Northport. And Saturday night wraps up with a night of fabulous music at the Rd Sky Stage in Petoskey!
 
Kids Swim for Grand Traverse Bay, Friday, August 10th, 6pm
This is a fun half mile point-to-point open water swim for kids ages 12-17. Swim in from West End Beach to the Volleyball Beach in downtown TC. Registration fee is $25. Learn more at swimforgtbay.com

Hoof n’ Sloshin’, Saturday, August 11th, 10am, Mt Holiday, TC
Teams of 4 and individuals will compete in this Bavarian-themed race, running up the backside of Mt Holiday, then sloshing down a series of 4 slip-n-slides. At the finish, racers will enjoy Bavarian-style food, beer, and lots more fun. Get registration details at hoofnsloshin.com
 
 
Northport Wine and Craft Beer Festival, Saturday, August 11th, 1-6pm,                              Haserot Park, Northport
