This weekend you can shop from dozens of different apple varieties in Charlevoix, taste the flavors of area farms at the Commons in Traverse City, and find fall fun for the whole family in Mackinaw City! You can enjoy local beer, wine and music in Elk Rapids, and wrap up the weekend with a fun run at Mt Holiday!
 
 
40th Annual Apple Fest in Charlevoix, October 12-14
Come downtown to shop from more than 30 different types of apples, plus a variety of harvest and fall related goods. There will be great food, artists booths, a petting farm, the 5k and 1 mile Apple Fest Fun Run and more. Learn more at charlevoix.org
 
 
Harvest Dinner at GT Commons, Saturday, October 13th, 5pm

Fall Into Mackinaw, Saturday, October 13th
Dress up your pet for Halloween and join the Creepy Critter Pet Parade through town at 1pm. The Monster Mash Street Bash takes place downtown from 1-10 with games and vendors, live music, a beer and wine tent, dancing, hayrides, bounce houses and more! The Great Pumpkin Dash at Mt. Holiday, Sunday, October 14th, 11am
Before the dash begins, participants will pick a pumpkin from the patch…then they have to carry that gourd through four obstacles on a 2k through Mt. Holiday’s woodsy terrain. Costumes are encouraged. All proceeds support Mt. Holiday. Register at greatpumpkindash.com
