This weekend starts with a great time for the kids at the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, and continues with a fabulous night 0f Swing Music in Petoskey. Saturday you can learn all about making maple syrup in Bellaire, or bowl down Main Street in Harbor Springs. And on Sunday, it’s another great show at Sleders in Traverse City!
Spring Break-Discover Science, Earth and Space, Friday, March 29th, 11am-3pm
Explore and imagine what the surface of the sun might be like! Find out how the Earth is changing. Imagine what extraterrestrial life might be like. Engaging and entertaining activities will introduce kids and their parents to the ongoing research happening now at NASA. This activity is free with regular museum admission. Tapping Maple Trees at the Grass River Natural Area, Saturday, March 30th, 11am

Bowl on Main Street, Harbor Springs, Saturday, March 30th, noon-2pm
If you’re one of the few left in town during Spring Break, come participate in this fun activity. Kids of all ages can try for a strike right on Main Street. Held at the intersection of State and Main, by Johan’s.
