This weekend you’ll find great deals on new movies, music and more at the Traverse Area District Library. You can find fun for the kids in several locations…and then treat yourself to brunch on Sunday to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters!
 
 
Friends of the Traverse Area District Library Media Sale, Saturday, April 13th, 9-4pm
Browse through thousands of quality used CDS, DVDs, audiobooks, and even an assortment of vinyl records. All items are only $2 each! Library members can shop first from 9-10am, then the public can shop from 10-4pm. Learn more at tadl.org/event/friends-of-tadl-media-sale
 
 
Children’s Health Fair at Petoskey  Middle School, Saturday, April 13th, 10am-2pm
Bring the kids for all kinds of fun activities, including a superhero fun run, fire engine and helicopter tours, face painting and crafts, Child Fingerprinting and DNA completion provided by Petoskey Public Safety for the National Child Identification Program, a Prize raffle, a Free Cycle BookBin (Bring a gently used book and take one home), and more. There will also be a low-cost lunch available at the event for $3 each or $8 for the family.
 
 
Sticks and Skates Family Fun Day at Centre Ice Arena, Saturday, April 13th, 11am-2pm
Bring the family for a fun day on the ice…skates on one side, and sticks and pucks on the other! Admission is only $5 per person, or $20 per family-hot dogs and skate rental included.  Get more info at https://www.centreice.org/
 
 
Easter Fun in Downtown Gaylord, Saturday, April 13th, 11:30am-1pm
Children of all ages will delight in collecting candy-filled plastic eggs from participating businesses and visits with the Easter Bunny as he hops from store to store. Be sure to open your eggs before heading home, as they could contain certificates for special prizes, which must be redeemed at the Old Spud Warehouse by 1:00 p.m.!  Prizes and candy have been donated by the Downtown Merchants Association, along with local businesses.
 
 
BIGS, Bubbles and Brunch, Sunday, April 14th, noon-3pm, Sorellina, TC
