Anyone who is a dog lover knows that one day will come…. the day you have to say good bye to your best friend. I’ve been thinking a lot about it lately. I have a 13 year old boy that’s had numerous health issues over the last year. And just in the past couple of weeks, 3 of my friends lost their dogs.
There is no doubt about it, it hurts. And there is nothing worse than having someone under estimate the pain because they don’t have a dog companion. Hint… the worst thing you can say to a dog mom or dad that has just lost their dog is… it was just a dog. There is no such thing.
I ran across the article and sent it to my friends who are now grieving for their lost companions. I thought you might like to read it too.
