52nd Annual Buckley Old Engine Show, August 15th-18th
Come out to the Old Engine Show Grounds in Buckley to see the Past In Motion! Over 1000 antique steam, gas and diesel tractors, 600+ antique gas and oil engines, an 1800’s sawmill, 1918 steam train rides, arts & crafts, a wood shop and wood crafts, farm games, plus a HUGE flea market, and lots more! 8th Annual Dune Dash, Saturday, August 17th, 9am
A 4-mile run/walk. Starting and finishing at the base of the Dune Climb, runners will follow the paved Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail, past rolling dunes and forests to the turn-around point at Glen Haven. Choose a 2 mile or 4 mile course. For SUP, kayaks, & canoes. Estimate your elapsed time for this paddle event-the one who finishes closest to their estimated time is the winner!
