One of my life’s passions is working to end the cruel treatment of puppy mill dogs. Along with my friend and fellow dog lover Janie Jenkins, we started a non-profit in 2014 to educate people about the industry and how to make sure you are not supporting a puppy mill when adding a dog to your family.
As online shopping has grown, so has online purchasing of puppies. Most people do not seem to make the connection that a dog they buy and have shipped to them is most likely from a puppy mill. They believe websites without ever verifying any of the information themselves.
So, to combat this growing problem, our organization Stop Online Puppy Mills has produced an educational video. Please watch this and if you have dog loving friends, share it too. The dogs living their lives in puppy mills thank you. And so do we.
