Fine wine, Fast cars, and lots more this weekend!

This Friday is a great day to take the kids to the Grand Traverse YMCA. You can sip and savor all weekend long on the Leelanau Peninsula, and grab a new ride for summer Saturday in TC. Then on Sunday, you can check out classic cars in Boyne City, or make a home for the fairies at Grand Traverse Commons!
 
Healthy Kids Day at the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA, Friday, June 4th, 4:30-7pm                                                                    Bring the family for an afternoon of shopping and activities. The event will be held outdoors, (weather permitting) and will celebrate what it means to be a healthy kid. Admission is Free!
 
Sip and Savor on the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail, June 4th-6th                                                                                                                    Enjoy unique food and wine pairings at more than 20 different stops along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail…one ticket price is good for the whole weekend and you can plan your tour on your own schedule. Recycle-A-Bicycle Bike Swap, Saturday, June 5th, 9am-2pm, Old Town Parking Deck, Traverse City                            This bike swap is for anyone looking to sell, and/or purchase used bicycles, and accessories. RAB requires all bicycles be in ridable condition-bikes and items for sale may be dropped off Friday between 6-8pm, and unsold items may be reclaimed on Saturday from 2-4pm. Sellers receive 75% of proceeds with the rest going to the Recycle-A-Bicycle charity.
 
Back to the Bricks Car Show, Boyne City, Sunday, June 6th, 1-4pm                                                                                                Come stroll through downtown Boyne, admiring rows of beustifully maintained classic automobiles, plus enjoy great food, and live music by the band “Derailed”. FREE!
 
Fairy House Competition, Sunday, June 6th, 8am-8pm, The Botanic Garden, Historic Barns Park, Traverse City All you have to do to participate is make a fairy house, and place it along the Fairy Trail at the Botanic Garden on Sunday…Houses will be judged on Monday and results will be announced online on Saturday, June 12th.
