All is Merry and Bright this Christmas Weekend!

You can bring the kids for holiday storytime Friday morning in Traverse City, Ski with Santa at Crystal Mountain, or catch a holiday tradition in a new location with the annual Festival of Trains! There’s a free dinner for those in need on Christmas Day, and Black Star Farms invites you to hit their trails to work off all those holiday cookies and eggnog!
 
Outdoor Christmas Eve Story Walk, Friday, December 24th, 10am, Central United Methodist Church, TC
Meet in the back parking lot to enjoy a reading of ‘Twas the Evening of Christmas, plus other activities.
 
Skiing with Santa at Crystal Mountain, Thompsonville, Friday, December 24th, 10am
Come hit the slopes with Santa as he enjoys a little fun before the night’s big delivery run!
 
Festival of Trains, Through December 31st, First Christian Church, Traverse City
Hours are Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm, Noon to 4 on Sundays, with special hours on Christmas Eve from 10-4pm. Admission is $5 for ages 4 and up, or get a family festival pass for only $30.
 
Free Community Christmas Dinner, Saturday, December 25th, 1-3pm, East Jordan United Methodist Church
East Jordan United Methodist church will be serving a holiday dinner for those in need, or just those who are alone on Christmas Day.
 
Snowshoes, Vines and Wines at Black Star Farms, Daily December 26th through 31st
Explore the trails at Black Star Farms by snowshoe, then warm up with a glass of mulled wine on the Terrace Patio! Snowshoe rentals are available. Get more info at blackstarfarms.com/snowshoes-vines-wines
