There’s winter fun for the little ones, at the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, and Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City this weekend. The whole family can have a great time enjoying the best of the season in Harbor Springs on Saturday….or hit the trails, with two choices….you can choose a walk through the vines at Blackstar Farms, or a trek through an outdoor museum in Thompsonville!
 
Storytime Adventures at the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, Friday, January 14^th, 10:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm
Featuring a reading of “The Mitten” by Jan Brett, with fun activities afterwards. Sign up when you reserve your attendance at the Museum at greatlakeskids.org
 
Disney’s “Frozen Jr.” with the Old Town Playhouse Young Company,January 14^th-23^rd, Old Town Playhouse, Traverse City
This show features all of the songs from the film plus five more from the Broadway production. Performances are Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at both 2pm & 7pm, & Sundays at 2pm. Masks required. Get tickets at oldtownplayhouse.com.
 
Harbor Springs Winterfest, Saturday, January 15^th, 11am-2pm, Kiwanis Park

Guided Snowshoe Hike at Michigan Legacy Art Park, Saturday, January 15^th, 10am, Crystal Mountain, Thompsonville
