From Street Fairs to the new SkyBridge, there’s Fall Fun around every corner!

It’s a great time to taste red wine in Leelanau county, and the apple harvest comes to downtown Charlevoix this weekend! You can join a tailgate party on Union Street in TC on Saturday, or dare to be one of the first to cross the new SkyBridge at Boyne Mountain! The wrap up your Saturday with a sunset run through the vineyards in Cedar!

For $35 per person, receive a 3oz pour of red wine hand-selected by each winery, & a souvenir glass, at all 21 participating Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail wineries, Monday-Friday throughout October. Get tickets here.
 
43^rd Annual Charlevoix Apple Festival, October 14^th & 15^th, downtown Charlevoix
Come downtown for food booths, an arts & craft show, farm market, the 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run, balloon fun with Twister Joe, kids’ activities, a petting zoo, paint party, and of course, bushels and bushels of the best apples fresh from local orchards! Learn more here.
 
Tailgate Block Party in TC, Saturday, October 15^th, Noon-3pm, 400 block of Union Street
Sample food, beer & wine, watch televised football & play a little cornhole. Samples will be available from The Cheese Lady, Brady’s Bar, Grand Traverse Sauce Co., High Noon, Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth, Maxbauer’s & The Butcher’s Block. Maxbauer’s will be accepting donations for the Northwest Food Coalition & will match all donations received.
 
SkyBridge Opening Day!, Saturday, October 15^th, 10am, Boyne Mountain Resort, Boyne Falls
Be one of the first to cross the longest timber-towered suspension bridge in the WORLD! Take in the fall foliage of Boyne Valley from over 118 feet in the air, and get an unobstructed view of the slopes below through a span of see-through glass flooring. Tickets are $20-get yours here.
 
Vineyard at Sunset Fun Run & 5k, Saturday, October 15^th, French Valley Vineyard, Cedar
Take part in a beautiful Sunset race to support Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy. Registration and check in starts at 3:45pm. The Fun Run will start at 4:30pm and the 5K Race will start at 5:00pm. Pre-register and get more info here.
