You can help spruce up the TART Trail for Earth Day, then enjoy sips and small plates in Leelenau, or, a great night out to benefit the Freindhip Centers of Emmet County! If you can’t wait for golf season, you’ll want to head to Odawa Casino on Saturday…then on Sunday, get up early with the birds at Grand Traverse Commons!
 
Tart Trails Spring Work Bee
Saturday, April 22nd, 10am-Noon
You can help clean up the TART Trail for Earth Day-  Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails is hosting its annual Spring Work Bee at various locations across the trail network this Saturday from 10am – noon. A complete list of all work bee locations along with a sign up form is available at traversetrails.org.
 
 
Small Plates on the Leelanau Wine Trail
Saturday, April 22nd, 6-9pm
Enjoy a glass of wine paired with a gourmet tapas dish at participating wineries for just $25 a seating! There are 3 seatings, at approximately 6, 7:10, and 8:20pm. Pick one winery, or 2, or 3! Tickets must be ordered in advance at lpwines.com
 
 
Friendship Center Fundraiser
Saturday, April 22nd, 6-8pm
Profits will support local seniors with programs and services including Meals on Wheels, health services, transportation, in-home care, and congregate meals. Enjoy a night of fun, food, and fundraising including a chance to win several cash prizes. Tickets are $150 each and include one entry into the $10,000 raffle drawing. Swing In the Season at Odawa Casino
Saturday, April 22nd, 1-4pm
Meet and mingle with reps from local golf courses and pro shops! Plus, check your swing with our longest drive and longest putt competitions. Sunday Morning Bird Walks at Grand Traverse Commons
Sunday, April 23rd, 7:30am
Meet in the parking area just east of Silver Drive. This birding experience is designed for those just getting started, or wanting to polish their skills.
