Summer may be winding down, but the fun ramps up this weekend!

You can grab great deals on the streets in Traverse City this Friday…or head to Elk Rapids for festival fun for the whole family! Boyne Falls celebrates their Polish heritage this weekend, while there’s beautiful art on display and for sale in Suttons Bay. Or, head to Mackinac Island for a bike ride exploring some of the islands lesser known features and attractions!

Elk Rapids Harbor Days

48th Annual Boyne Falls Polish Festival

Sutton’s Bay Art Festival
August 5th & 6th, Marina Park, Suttons Bay
Featuring work by over 100 artists, a library book sale, food vendors, & activities for children. There will also be a pancake breakfast Sunday morning. Hours are Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10-4. Admission is free.
 
Mackinac’s Forgotten Features
Saturday, August 5th, 5:30pm
Mackinac State Historic Parks will host a guided bike ride to learn about features on the island that have been long lost or forgotten, such as the Thimble Cave or Dousman’s Distillery. Guests will also hear unfamiliar tales of familiar locations, like Skull Cave and Friendship’s Altar. Get details here.
