Bikes, pancakes, art, music and a fun event for the kids. As summer starts to heat up, the weekends Up North become full of fun ways to enjoy every day that doesn’t include snow.  So find something that makes you smile and get out of the house… you’ll be glad you did!

It’s always fun to browse an art show on a sunny summer day. This weekend, it’s the TC Spring Art and Craft Show, two-day art & fine craft show at the Open Space, located along the bay in the heart of Traverse City. This third annual popular event offers handmade creations and art from local and nationally acclaimed artists. Potters, woodworkers, sculptors, jewelers, aromatherapy creators, up-cyclers, printmakers, painters and so much more to choose from. Fresh smashed lemonade in 25 flavors and freshly popped kettlecorn will make for the perfect day by the water. Shop Local, Shop Handmade, and support a dream…or two! At the Open Space on Saturday and Sunday, 10-5pm.

Jelly Roll Blues Band always puts on a great show. Friday night, you can see them at Pond Hill Farm at 6P and this time, they’re raising money for the Harbor Springs Little League! Come get your dance on as you help out a great cause! This is a family friendly fun event. Pizza, grilled cheese, salads, wraps, beer and wine available for purchase.
