It’s fall festival time!

If you’re looking to feel like fall, this is your weekend! So  many fall themed events so find your fleece and get out and enjoy an Up North fall weekend.

It’s time for AppleFest in downtown Charlevoix Friday thru Sunday, 10am-6pm daily. Friday includes art & craft show, farmers market, & live music by Fog Horn Jazz Band. Saturday features Apple Fest 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run, Apple Pie Eating Contest, Dancing Witches, Music in the Streets with the Charlie Millard Band, A is for Apple Story Time with Ms. Mitchell, a petting zoo, Twister Joe Balloon Artist & much more. And Sunday includes art & craft show, kids activities, petting zoo, face painting, Twister Joe Balloon Artist & more.

Another way to enjoy everything fall is in Leelanau at the Lake Leelanau Street Fair, Saturday from 11-6pm. Featuring live music by Deep Blue Water Samba School, New Third Coast, & Broom Closet Boys; children’s activities including juggling acts by Clark Lewis & a live petting zoo with Double Oak Farm; arts & crafts, local artists, local businesses, food & more. If you want to spend some quality time with your dog, take them to the Village of Grand Traverse on Saturday. Fall Fido Fest starts at, 1pm at the Village of GT Commons. Bring your furry friends & enjoy an afternoon of shopping & dog-friendly activities, including a pet costume contest, dog agility course & more.

If you’re looking for a fall music festival, you can’t go wrong with The Accidentals and all of their friends! The Accidental’s FamGrove Festival is Saturday at French Valley Vineyard in Cedar. Featuring The Rebel Eves, Low Phase, One Hot Robot, & more. There will also be food trucks, art & more. Tickets are going fast at MyNorthTickets.com

And if you’d like to enjoy the outdoors with your family, stop by Camp Daggett on Sunday. Camp Daggett Fall Fest is noon-5pm. Enjoy pontoon fall color tours, arts & crafts, wagon rides, live music, festive fall treats & more. Suggested donation, $10 per car
