Introducing Kiki, a truly magnificent calico cat with a soul full of love and wisdom. As a cherished senior, Kiki brings a wealth of life experience and elegance to any home. Her vibrant fur is a beautiful tapestry of colors, reflecting her unique personality and gentle spirit.
Kiki is a wonderful communicator, always ready to share her thoughts and desires with her humans. She adores being in your company and has a special way of making any space feel warm and inviting with her presence. Whether it’s curling up beside you with a soft purr or engaging you in delightful conversation, Kiki is sure to enrich your daily life.
As a senior cat, Kiki has her own unique needs, and she deserves an understanding person or family who can provide the special care and attention she requires. If you are ready to embrace the joys of senior companionship and offer Kiki a loving home where she can shine, you’ll discover that her love and gratitude will fill your life with priceless beautiful moments. Opening your heart to Kiki means welcoming charm and class into your home!
Thank you so much for all you do for our furry friends and your help in finding Kiki the forever home she deserves!

TC PAWS

Ginger was a stray in a Traverse City neighborhood when TC Paw rescued her and placed her in a foster home. She is a calm, loving cat who wants to be right beside you or on your lap. She loves affection, especially chin and butt scratches. Her scratch pad and catnip are other favorites. While she tolerates dogs, Ginger doesn’t like other cats and should be an only cat. Ginger does an odd little thing. When her foster mom picks Ginger up, she hisses. Then she’s perfectly happy to be on her lap or right next to her. Ginger is never aggressive. We are baffled by this behavior that doesn’t seem connected to the Gingerwho we know will be a lovely, quiet companion.

TC Paw Cat Rescue was formed in the Spring of 2023 after the well-known northern Michigan rescue group AC PAW retired their rescue program for cats and dogs. Their mission is helping cats and kittens in the greater Traverse City region through rescue, spay/neuter, fostering, adoption, education and community collaboration.

From the Charlevoix Humane Society

Stanley is a 7 month old Pointer/Pit mix who came to us due to his owner no longer being able to care for him. Stanley is a bit of a wild child, but we love that about him! He is learning his leash manners and is very eager to please. Stanley is very food motivated and that will definitely be a key to training with him. He seems to be mostly house trained, but does best if he can be let out every few hours. He is very curious of the other dogs and we are unsure of how he will do with cats. Stop in and say hello, Stanley can’t wait to meet you!

From AuSable Valley Animal Shelter

Hi there! My name is Buddy because all I want in life is to be your best buddy! I’m handsome, I’m young—probably between 1-2 years old—I’m neutered, microchipped, and just waiting to meet you! I love all the people I meet. I do well with other big dogs, but I haven’t met any little dogs yet, so that might be new for me. Cats are fun to chase, so I probably wouldn’t do well living with them.
I’ve been hanging out with a foster family for a few months, and I’ve been doing well with my potty training. I will gather up your boots and slippers—but not to worry, I’m not a chewer! I just really like smelling them. I’m not very food-motivated, but I do love a good bully stick to chew on.
Now that I’ve gotten a good start in life, I’m ready to meet my new family! My availability is limited since I’m in foster care, so reach out to my shelter friends to set up a time to meet me. They can be reached at AVASCares2@gmail.com or by phone at 989-348-4117.
Hope we get to hang out soon!

If you want to see how fast my butt wiggles, please stop by the shelter Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Questions? Email AVASCares2@gmail.com or call 989-348-4117. See you soon!
