Cherryland Humane Society

Hello there! I’m Hillary. I’m a big fan of cuddles, loyalty is my middle name, and I’ve got energy for days. Playtime is the best time, especially when puzzle toys are involved. I’m the reigning queen of those! I’m smart, brave, and have a sense of humor that will keep you on your toes. Goofy? You bet! Curious? Always. I’m friendly to everyone I meet and my sweetness knows no bounds. I’m looking for a family that appreciates my playful energy and loves a good game of puzzle toys. I promise to keep you laughing, be your loyal companion, and shower you with sweetness. Adopt me and let’s make beautiful memories together! I have potential to live with other dogs and kids 16+. No kitty cats please. Please ask my friends at Cherryland about my medical needs!
Cherryland Humane Society is a private, no kill animal shelter servicing Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties. We are an independent, 501-C, non profit organization. CHS is dependent on donations, fundraising activities, estates, planned giving, memorials and occasional grants for operation. Visit our available pets online at cherrylandhumane.org

TC PAWS

Bob has a story of survival and one that makes you realize how resilient cats are— and yet crave love and affection from human companionship.
Bob was left behind when his owner was evicted. Found hiding under the furnace after the apartment had been cleared out and he had been without food or water for five days, because no one knew he was there.
The TC Paw team was able to come in and rescue Bob since he was hiding and incredibly scared having seen alone for several days. He received immediate vet care with fluids and an overall wellness exam and is doing wonderful.

Bob is a true survivor and would do best in a quiet, calm home with humans who are patient and understand how to love shy kitties. If you show Bob love and affection, he will show it right back to you.

If you would like to meet Bob in person please contact TC Paw: (231) 714-4711

TC Paw Cat Rescue was formed in the Spring of 2023 after the well-known northern Michigan rescue group AC PAW retired their rescue program for cats and dogs. Their mission is helping cats and kittens in the greater Traverse City region through rescue, spay/neuter, fostering, adoption, education and community collaboration.

From the Charlevoix Humane Society

Hey there, my name is Dudley and I’m a two year old fun loving yellow lab and I’m excited to announce I’m available for adoption! I’m an outgoing social guy, I love going for walks and playing with toys in the yard (even in the snow!) I have a lot of enthusiasm for making new friends. Oh I’m also super smart, I love doing food puzzles in my kennel. I’m still working on my manners, but I’d do great in a home with another dog and older children.

From AuSable Valley Animal Shelter

Hi! My name is Astro! They call me this because they say the love I have to offer is from another galaxy! I’m a large mixed breed man, weighing in at about 50–60 lbs. I’ve been neutered, and I’m about 3–4 years old. I have been vaccinated, microchipped, and I’m up to date on my heartworm testing!
I am a southern guy at heart. I was brought up from Louisiana with the Bissell Pet Foundation about 1.5 years ago for my chance to find my forever family. The last year and a half has had some bright spots, but the two families that I thought I would be with forever had other plans, and I made my way back to the shelter through no fault of my own. While my heart is a little broken, my spirit cannot be, and I refuse to give up. I have hope that I will find my true forever family that will love me and care for me no matter what life throws at them.
Not only am I incredibly handsome, I am the all-around best boy you’ll ever meet. I am a professional house hippo. I love to snuggle, I am potty trained, I am good with other dogs, I am good with cats, and I do very well with kids that can show me respect and kindness! Quite literally, I am an all-around great dog!
I’d love to meet you! In between my play times with my other dog friends at the animal shelter, you can come anytime Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. If you have questions, please reach out to my friends at AVASCares2@gmail.com or call 989-348–4117.
