This weekend you can start planning summer escapes at the GT Civic Center. There’s a great murder mystery at the Old Town Playhouse, Magic on the Old Mission Peninsula, Maple flavored fun in East Jordan, and great music in Petoskey. Plus, a couple of events to look forward to next week!

25th annual Northwest Mi Camper and RV Show
Friday, March 24th through Sunday March 26th, Grand Traverse County Civic Center
Come browse through all types of recreational vehicles, with more than 30 units on display, plus parts and accessories, information on campgrounds and  more. Hours are Friday 11-9, Saturday 11-8, and Sunday 11-5. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, children 12 and under free. More info at michiganrvandcampgrounds.org
“The Mousetrap” at Old Town Playhouse

Maple Sugaring Open House
Saturday, March 25th, 10am-2pm, Martha Wagbo Farm and Education Ctr., East Jordan

The Sweet Water Warblers
Saturday, March 25th, 8pm, Crooked Tree Arts Center, Petoskey

A blend of East and Southeast Asia, Vietnamese food will captivate through its refreshing flavors, varied textures, fresh herbs and vibrant colors. In this interactive class learn to make goi cuon (fresh spring rolls), banh mi (pork sandwich with fresh herbs, & beef pho (broth based soup) and ca phe trung (Vietnamese egg coffee) Recipes and aprons will be provided along with a generous portion of the dishes  created during the event!
