Santa is in town, you can shop in your PJ’s, or do some Winter Wine Tasting!

Time is running out, but you still can get your letter to Santa delivered in person in Traverse City Friday. Saturday, do some early shopping in Bellaire, then enjoy a Winter Wine Walk in Gaylord, or catch the big guy again at the fairgrounds in Petoskey! And the annual Festival of Trains kicks off on Saturday and runs through the end of the month.
 
Santa Claus is coming to Downtown Traverse City, Friday, December 17th, 5:30-7:30pm
Santa will be touring downtown TC in an antique fire engine, plus firefighters will be collecting letters to Santa along the way.
 
Pajama Shopping Day in Downtown Bellaire, Saturday, December 18th, 10am
Come to Bellaire early in the am to get some last minute Christmas shopping done. Great deals in downtown stores, prizes for the best jammies, and free gift wrapping at the Bellaire Public Library from 10am to 2pm.
 
Winter Wine Walk at Otsego Resort in Gaylord, Saturday, December 18th, Noon to 3pm
Enjoy a winter walk from the River Cabin to a cozy bonfire at the Beaver Dam. Plus, enjoy wine tasting with light food pairings at 3 different stops along the way! Tickets are $38. Learn more at otsegoclub.com
 
Visit with Santa at the Emmet County Fairgrounds, Saturday, December 18th, 1-5pm
Santa will be greeting children in the equestrian center building. Get your last minute gift wishes in, plus enjoy cookies, cocoa, and holiday themed arts & crafts! All free!
 
Festival of Trains, December 18th through the 31st, First Christian Church, Traverse City
Come browse through dozens of model train exhibits, fun for all ages! Hours are Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm, Noon to 4 on Sundays, with special hours on Christmas Eve from 10-4pm. Admission is $5 for ages 4 and up, or get a family festival pass for only $30. Learn more here.
