This annual dance-off for charity kicks off on Friday at the City Opera House in Traverse City, and I'll be one of the judges this year! Come enjoy live music from Judy Harrison and High Impact, plus fabulous dance performances from local participants. You can vote for your favorite participants with a donation to their charity. Little Shop of Horrors at the Old Town Playhouse Old Town Playhouse presents the sci-fi horror musical "Little Shop of Horrors". Seymour Krelborn, a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop, happens upon a strange plant which he affectionately names “Audrey II.” Little does he know that this uncommon plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth and an unquenchable thirst for human blood. Performances are September 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, and 30, and October 1, 6, 7, and 8 at 7:30 PM, plus September 18, September 25, and October 2 at 2:00 PM.
