From a Friday night of food trucks and dancing, to a Saturday morning run with zombies, there’s lots of frightful fun to be found this weekend. Truck-Or-Treat festival, Friday, October 26th, 3-Midnight
Held in front of the abandoned Cottage 30 building at the Village at GT Commons. Boos, Brews, Food Trucks and a Dance Party! 10th annual TC Zombie 5k Run, Saturday, October 27th, 9am
Wear your best Zombie attire and join the crowd! This race starts and ends at Right Brain Brewery. Be sure to hang around after the race for the medal ceremony and best costumes prizes. Get your costume together and put on your dancing shoes for this 2nd annual event, which is family friendly and open to the public. Enjoy a hot dog bar, chili and beverages available for purchase. Bring a carved pumpkin for the Jack-o-Lantern raffle and contest! There will be games, face painting and kids games, a live DJ and more fun all night long! Admission is free, but donations are welcome, to benefit the Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy.

Learn more about Oakwood Cemetery’s more famous residents with a tour led by representatives from the Traverse History Center.
