If you love classic cars, don’t miss the YMCA Classics Under the Lights Car Show. The event is Friday night, 6-9pm at Turtle Creek Stadium. If you like to be on the water, check out the Paddle Antrim Festival this weekend. The Festival celebrates the amazing waterways and communities of Northern Michigan. The Festival includes a two-day paddle event through the Chain of Lakes Water Trail. Then choose your own adventure paddle provides the opportunity for you to paddle one or both days and decide how far to travel. Best known as the star and executive producer of the hit series, THE CARBONARO EFFECT on truTV, Michael Carbonaro has also made frequent television appearances in shows such as Happily Divorced, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, and CSI Miami. A performing magician since his youth, Carbonaro went on to study experimental theater at New York University with aspirations of entertaining audiences through a variety of theatrical mediums, including hidden-camera magic, which he later showcased frequently on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” The show is Sunday at 7:30 at Great Lakes Center for the Arts.
