Fall is in full fun this weekend with Halloween pre-gaming, craft shows and festivals. Lots of adult fun and many choices for the whole family. So no matter what you’re looking for this weekend, you’ll find something fun!

Kick off the weekend in Suttons Bay at the Fall Artisan and Wine Walk, Friday evening from 5-8pm, in Downtown Suttons Bay. Enjoy strolling store to store, viewing work from local artisans, & sampling local fare & refreshments. A walking guide is created which includes the names of the participating merchants along with the artist they are hosting & a winery. Receive a stamp on the walking guide & enter to win $150 in gift cards from participating businesses.

A Friday or Saturday night walk for the whole family is at the Haunted Woods at Old Mill Lane. The same people who do the incredible Christmas Lights are doing a Halloween walk. Bonfire, lights, sound effects, but no scary people so perfect for the kids. The event is free from 7-9pm at 1833 Mill Lane, near Pleasantview and Van Roads outside of Pellston. See the event on Facebook.

Find more fall fun at Pond Hill Farm, just north of Harbor Springs on M119. Friday night, Jelly Roll Blues Band is playing, then Saturday and Sunday it’s family fun time. Enjoy scenic hayrides, delicious cider and donuts, pick out the perfect pumpkin, and test your aim with the apple cannons. Get ready for some smashing good fun with pumpkin smashing and pumpkin bowling. Navigate the new giant corn maze, visit the animals, listen to live music and for the adults, there is beer, hard cider, wine tasting, chili and pizza to satisfy your taste buds. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season! Fall Fest runs every Saturday & Sunday 11am-6pm through October 27th. FREE ADMISSION, pet friendly. www.pondhill.com

Enjoy the small town atmosphere in Alanson on Saturday with the Alanson Harvest Hunt from 1-3pm. Fall business scavenger hunt to win prizes. Face painting. Pumpkin painting. Dress up and start your Halloween fun.

And if you’re looking to start your holiday shopping, one of the best craft shows of the year is this Saturday from 9-2pm, The Trinity Lutheran Craft Show. Over 70 vendors will be showing their art, crafts and food specialties. The event is at the church, 1003 South Maple in Traverse City.
