Kick off your weekend with a fish fry for a good cause. Brother Dan’s Lenten fish-fry season every Friday through April 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., head to St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall at 513 Howard Street for a delicious meal of baked or fried fish, potatoes, coleslaw, green beans, mac n cheese, rolls, and dessert to help Brother Dan’s feed the hungry in the community. Pay at the door. You can dine in, or you can make a plate to go. The cost is $15 for adults, $7 for kids ages 7-12, and kids 6 and under can eat for free. Or stop by St Mary’s School in Charlevoix for their Friday Night Fish Fry from 5-7. All the fish is from John Cross Fisheries and you’ll love the sides!
